Understanding the Child: The Role Sensory Processing has in Behavior and Learning
In this course, participants will gain an understanding of what sensory processing disorder is, how it affects the child's ability to self-regulate, and why dysfunction comes out "sideways" when it comes to learning and behavior. Using a universal design for learning approach, educators will learn a three-step process to problem solve through challenging moments.
